After grossing a total of 33,000,000 RMB in China, Storm Rider, the most successful animation film in China, made its debut in Tokyo International Film Festival on 25th, October. The film was responded with positive reviews from the audiences including representatives from The Association of Japanese Animations.
Adapted from Storm Rider, the top selling comic strips in Hong Kong in the last ten years with high reputation in Chinese society, the animation film version of Storm Rider highlights the combination of art and Chinese kung fu. The story has also been successfully adapted into PC games, online games etc.
